My journey
All my life I have found myself inside worlds that resemble one another very little.
I worked in banking. I saw the private sector from the inside. I held posts in the public sector and in international organizations. I was a senior manager at what may be the finest university in Türkiye. I built a body of work in sustainability and strategy.
At first glance these may look like steps with nothing to do with each other.
Looking back today, I can see that all of those roads brought me to where I am now — and to the same question…
Six worlds, six different languages.
The public sector talks about not taking risks, companies about growth, civil society about impact, the United Nations about accountability, universities about method. The same problem is described differently in every room. Müjde Çetin has seen five of these worlds from the inside — and there is a sixth that resembles none of them.

How do you really look at a matter?
Across more than twenty-five years I have been inside a great many institutions, sectors and problems. I became a General Manager at thirty-two, and from that day on I have carried management and leadership responsibilities. Wherever we happen to be, solving a problem starts with understanding what the problem actually is.
Because most of the time, the thing standing in front of us is not the real problem.
Underneath what is visible there is another cause, another dynamic, and sometimes another matter that no one has ever said out loud.
My curiosity turned, more and more, towards that.
- What is the real matter?
- What is the root cause that brought us here?
- And what would it actually take to change it — technically, and in what I call the aesthetic sense: the relational one?
By my mid-thirties I noticed that the different experiences I had gathered over the years were slowly turning into a map in my mind.
- Banking taught me one thing.
- The private sector taught me another.
- So did the public sector, the international institutions, the university.
- Each of them taught me to look at a matter through a different window.
And perhaps the most valuable lesson of all: that one window is usually not enough.
So I do not see the work I do today as simply “producing solutions”.
- First, to stop and look.
- To ask the right question.
- To understand what sits behind the visible.
- And then to bring all of it together and find the better outcome that is actually available.
At the core of my twenty-five years, I think this is what there has always been:
- To understand the matter.
- To find the real question.
- And, if it is possible, to carry it somewhere better.

The career as a whole.
She attended both secondary school and university on merit scholarships. She graduated in 1999 from Marmara University in Political Science and International Relations (English), and completed a master's in Law of Economics with honors at Galatasaray University in 2007. In 1998 she spent a scholarship placement at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
She began her working life at Yapı Kredi Bank and continued as a middle manager at Doğuş Holding. Between 2009 and 2012 she served as General Manager of the European Union Business Development Centre; in the same period she carried out institutionalisation work inside factories as an EBRD-accredited consultant and delivered entrepreneurship training for KOSGEB.
From 2012 to 2015 she worked in Eastern Anatolia as Coordinator of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) “Women Friendly Cities” program, run in partnership with the Ministry of the Interior. She led the establishment of Gender Equality Units inside public institutions.
From 2015 she spent nearly four years as Coordinator at the Argüden Governance Academy, under the Boğaziçi University Foundation. She led the team that wrote the first Integrated Report of Türkiye and taught on Boğaziçi University's Good Governance certificate program.
At the end of 2018 she founded her own consultancy, Spring Global. From 1 June 2019 she has been listed internationally as one of the first two certified Contract Negotiators of Türkiye. In 2026 she founded Spring Opal, in property.

Certificate of competence in Corporate SME Management, on a program run in Malatya in partnership with the Fırat Development Agency.
